Your QBO file stays on your device

Ledger File Lab reads, parses, previews, and exports your selected file inside your browser. The file bytes, filename, path, account details, transactions, warnings, and export are not sent to Ledger File Lab or stored on a server.

No accounts or financial-data storage

The current service has no user accounts, advertising scripts, session replay, error monitoring, or cookies used to retain financial data. Parsed data lives only in the current page memory. Clear the file or close or refresh the page to remove it.

Ordinary hosting records

The hosting provider may process standard request information needed to serve the website, such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, and security logs. Those requests do not contain the QBO file or its parsed contents.

Optional website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to public pages. Analytics does not receive your files, filenames, document text, account details, transactions, or tool inputs. Page addresses exclude query strings and fragments. Advertising features and Google signals are disabled.

In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics loads only after you choose Allow. If your region cannot be determined, it stays off. Elsewhere it starts by default unless you decline. Use Privacy settings to allow, decline or withdraw at any time; withdrawal stops analytics and clears its cookies. Your choice is stored locally. When enabled, first-party _ga cookies may last up to two years.
